A MODEL FOR GENERATIONS - A good example is a pointer for most

In the era of further
development of our national principle, the boundless honor given to education
workers is immeasurable. The concern for the younger generations, who are our
future, is boundless. Of course, the heritage, the national principle, is a
real treasure that opens the way for our past to our present and future. In
2024 year, in the year of the 300^th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fragi,
the great master of the word, which is celebrated internationally, the
ceremonies honoring the poet follow each other.

The name of the year,
"The Storehouse of Wisdom of Makhtumkuli Fragi", awakened a sense of
pride in the hearts of the Turkmen people. Makhtumkuli Fragi is a poet of the
past, present and future. The poetic work of Makhtumkuli Fragi, embodying the
great human qualities inherent in Turkmens, his poems forever resound in the
hearts of people. Every line of it is a guiding star for the Turkmen youth.
Lines summarizing the essence of morality have now become the natural speech of
every young generation. The sound of the songs created by each of our great
musicians based on the poems of Makhtumkuli Fragi also has an impact on our
youth.

In honor of the great poet,
his statue, installed in the foothills of Kopetdag, located in the embrace of
our capital, looking at the happy era of the people, instilled great pride in
the hearts of every Turkmen youth. The fact that the statue of Makhtumkuli
Fragi, who brought glory to his people, gathered samples of world literature
around him is a unique moment that speaks about the friendship and brotherhood
of our people and the mastery of poetry. The image of each literary generation,
which stands as a model for these generations, pushes them into the world of
friendship and creativity.  And the
reference to the lines of Makhtumkuli Fragi in the works of schoolchildren
written on exams, in the works written by them in honor of the poet, increased
our sense of pride. I would like to note that we are confident that in the
future these will be young people who are loyal to our country and Homeland.

In order to implement the
main directions of the state policy of Hero Arkadagly Serdar, events were
enthusiastically held in honor of the Day of Workers of Culture and Art and
Poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi. A lot of work is being done to spread the culture
and history of the country in the world. In an era when broad conditions have
been created for the development of our national culture, the construction and
use of museums, theaters and cultural centers that meet international
standards, the scientific study of historical finds of the Turkmen people, the
preservation of historical and cultural monuments, and the upbringing of the
younger generation in the spirit of respect for the valuable spiritual and
cultural heritage of our ancestors is a sacred duty of education workers.
National values are a solid bridge connecting respect for our ancestors and
faith in the future. The culture of Merv, Jeytun, Altyndepe, Gonurdepe, Nisa,
Kunya-urgench, dating back to ancient millennia, is a treasure that holds a
treasure trove of species. Delving into history means discovering the spiritual
world of today. Studying cultural centers and collecting information about them
is a value that cannot be compensated for by anything else. In general,
cultural figures are highly respected in our country. The names given to them
with respect, the perpetuation of the names of those who have made a worthy
contribution to our culture, being in the forefront of cultural figures
traveling to foreign countries is the respect shown to cultural and art workers
in our country.

The celebration at the
international level of the 300^th anniversary of the great lyricist Makhtumkuli
Fragi on the Day of Workers of Culture and Art and Poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi
instilled a sense of pride in the heart of the Turkmen people.
